SHABAM

A celebration of Alberta Craft Brews in a carnival-like atmosphere for grown-ups. This past October's event marked Shabam's third year. The event features activities like sumo-wrestling and ring-toss and, instead of prizes, you win entries into a draw for awesome raffle prizes.

Chili
cook-off

Held at Fort Edmonton Park, the vent features independent craft brews, and local chefs serve up their best chili in support of Crohns and Colitis.

Rum Festival

Inspired by International Talk Like a Pirate Day, this event is all things rum and all things pirate (what do pirates do? Drink rum. What does Sherbrooke have a lot of? I'll bet you can guess). We have costume contests, talk-like-a-pirate contests and a treasure hunt for the chance to win a lot of booze (a chest of salvage pirate booty).

Zin/Pinot

Summer wine-tastings both, Zin on the River and Pinot on the Patio are always a good time.

The two productions are part of Nick "Danger" Lees' commitment to raise money for Kids with Cancer.

California Show

2012 was the first year for this event, but it proved to be very popular. Held at the Royal Glenora in April, the show featured over 30 different tables with different producers.

Urban Craft Beer
& Food Festival

Friday, April 19th, 2013:
The Urban Craft Beer & Food Festival is a fundraiser for the Urban Spirits Rotary Club.
The festival features 100+ different craft brews as well as thoughtfully paired offerings from local food trucks.
